I've always gotten along better with older guys, so most people that I hang out with or talk to would have the same age difference between Chris and Ashleigh (I'm 23 now though). Maybe it's because I don't look like Ashleigh that no-one has ever thought it weird. It does make me wonder if it had been a young male + older female, or if Ashleigh had been conventionally unattractive and Chris conventionally attractive; would people feel the same way?

Nope they wouldn't. There would be no creepy Chris stuff at all. Also if Chris was gay and they had exactly the same friendship there would be no creepy Chris stuff. It's because of how they each look and their ages
