I have intensely disliked this theme too Niamh, for me it has stifled a lot of progression the housemates may have been able to make over the series.
Hopefully as you say a more back to basics series next year will follow..
This one for me has been near torture to watch really, I only stuck with it out of some loyalty to the idea of BB.
