I go home to the north once a year to tend my fathers grave and I use my I phone in the south when I go to see my friends in Cork so I cant see why it wont work for yours/

Maybe they've geoblocked it to Irish phones? Yours would still be a British phone? I don't know, I'm just guessing I don't know alot about these phones at all
