I agree that the defense is complete bull****. Before shooting you would at the very least glance at the other side of the bed to check its not your partner :S

Any normal person would check on their partner if they thought they heard someone breaking in, if not at least to see if they were okay, to tell them to call the police, to make sure they stayed where they were.. they wouldn't roll out of bed straight away, grab a gun and fire it through a door, no knowing who or what is on the other side, it just doesn't make sense at all.

There is no evidence to prove his version of events is lies though, the Doctor who came to his house after said he in his expierence looked genuinely distressed by what had happened and that along with the Window actually being open and the argument that Reeva couldn't have screamed after she was shot because of where she was shot and how soon she died so the screams must have been from him is much better to go off then anything the prosecution thrown up in the case, they did a terrible job and the Judge did the right thing

This. It's a court of law. You can't just go "OMG, he obviously did it, look at all these things" when most of it is assumptions and none of them is cold hard evidence that proves it beyond doubt. At the end of the day the incident that has the most evidence is the one of Reeva being killed due to his negligence and rash actions.

There just isn't anywhere near enough proof to hand a Premeditated Murder verdict on him.

You're being equally as dismissive about other peoples opinions though.. the ruling might have been made, but people are still entitled to think that the ruling was a load of ****, because it quite clearly is.
