I enjoy reading all viewpoints on subjects which interest me and skip any on topics which don't, and I don't personally care how long someone has been a member - or what their post count is.

I definitely see your point. There's no reason for anybody not to be equal, but in regards to someone's join date I feel like older members already have their friendships based, which is something you've already stated. That's not to say newer members wouldn't be included because TiBB is a welcoming community, I just think in terms of 'equality' a post count doesn't really have anything to do with in, in comparison to a join date, which like you said is expected to cause a bit of distance in terms of understanding user's sense of humour and interests.

I'm just content with how TiBB is and don't think anything needs to change.
