Pretty much this. Andrea may have the stronger voice but theres little to no commerical appeal to him. Lauren has the look, the commerical appeal and a strong enough voice to save her if she's ever in a sing-off.

Nope,because it's not just about who can impersonate Mariah and Celine, it's about performance [only SK, Paul and OTY are worse imo].

Meghan Trainor, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift are all in top 5 without having to do the outdated Andrea diva singing.

Andrea has zero charisma and tweenie girls adore Lauren. The words creepy seem to crop up ehen you mention Andrea to them.

In a sing off the likes of Fleur and Lauren will not only school Andrea in 2014 they'll performance wise hand his arse to him on how to appeal to contemporary record buyers, not mums who buy 1 album a year from Tescos
