Maybe that's all the change he had, and maybe he felt embarrassed for her with all the media vultures circling?
Politics is far to presidential in it's approach for me atm... I wish we could move away from spin and photo ops to actually focusing on policies.

No he just thought about himself. If he was principled he would have given the beggar nothing as that is what she deserved.
