Fake tree, I can't be dealing with the hassle with a real tree, plus we have cats so it wouldn't be a good idea
 And as for tree toppers, we've never gone for the traditional star or angel, we've always just had some sort of.. Idk, artsy topper I suppose.. But this year I've convinced my parents to go for a glass snowflake one with LED's in it, it sounds tacky as hell but it's lush
