Picking up from what someone said earlier on, when Emma told Max about him possibly "knowing the killer" this means Max has been cleared right?

iirc it was mentioned that someone will be officially cleared on New Years day, if what I mentioned above was genuinely true then the official clear was Max but what I don't understand is that the episode clearly showed that Aleks, Billy and Lola are ruled out as well.

well it showed her having a chat with Aleks and then going to receive a phone call from her suspect, so it can't be him

then when she hung up, it showed everyone on their phones, and later she met the suspect at the gardening plot, and it then cut to Billy and Lola leaving their house together whilst everyone else was unaccounted for (Lola pointed out the street was quiet lol)

obviously this is all irrelevant if Emma's got the suspect wrong LOL

Yeah, I loved that shot of everyone engrossed in their mobiles. Reminded me of the Archie storyline when everyone was fiddling with leather black gloves. So ridiculous but funny.

Then the beep of the received text as all the suspects stood there watching her.

Are you talking about when max questioned her about why she's going to the police and she was like "you know why!"? If it is I don't think it means that he is cleared I think he either is the killer or he knows who.

I think he's found the file she hid under the sink.

Covering for Abi? I remember her and Max saying they had a secret from Good Friday which hasn't come out yet.
