There is a world of difference between supporting a HM that makes the show watchable and being a fan of her in real life. I doubt anyone on here sees her as a role model, I think its her values and willingness to speak her mind that is giving her kudos. There is a slight difference which is very easy to twist into hero worship to suit the aims of those that hate her.
