IU also looked up your question about IAC and this is what I found When later that year she took part in I'm A Celebrity..., round-the-clock filming forced her to tell the producers about her condition and she was banned from sleeping in a hammock for safety reasons.

So what you are actually saying is that every time we post opinions that are baseless facts, that we can be slated for them but if you post them, that's ok. Im confused but if this means I am going to be infracted or banned, please just ignore me but I think I have a point here.

As someone who has suffered with epilepsy and night time seizures since I was 23 I do find it offensive that anyone would accuse someone of lying about suffering from the condition.

A little bit of research would have proven that she has been talking about this for years. Instead you find it ok to accuse someone of lying about suffering from epilepsy to get their own room without looking into the facts.

Sorry I obviously took it a bit personally but I find it bizzare you would accuse someone of lying about suffering from seizures when everyone else in the thread is so understanding about it and agrees its fair she has her own personal space to facilitate her needs.

She filmed her show for TLC ages ago, before she was even approached to do CBB, and it was then that she first opened up about epilepsy. So not sure how she is lying just to get a private room

If you had the pleasure of feeling how terrible it is to wake up on the floor on a nightly basis you would understand why I find it offensive that you would accuse someone of lying about suffering seizures for something as petty as to get a private room.

Katie has spoken out about her issues quite a few times and in her recent documentary opened up about it further and it really effects her but as with many illnesses it can flare up.

I am really happy BB took the precaution to give her her own room, for her safety and the safety of others.

They could be yes with someone who suffers from photosensitive epilepsy but that doesn't mean the person who suffers from them has to have their rights taken away.

Its discrimination to tell someone they cannot do something when they are not endangering others.

I understand why people with epilepsy have to be monitored for a while before driving as that endangers others but to not allow someone to enter a nightclub for instance isn't treating someone as an equal.

I find it offensive that you would accuse someone of lying about having epilepsy that's all and it seems many others agree.

If you have family members who suffer seizures you should really know its not something someone would lie about having.

I don't think its ok for you to accuse someone of lying without doing any research beforehand.

He had no reason for a private bedroom, he slept perfectly well. He needed some housemates around him who cared for others and not just themselves.

Gary didn't have any need for a private room. He wasn't at any risk at all. Yes he suffered a brain injury but there was no need for his own space he was more than happy sharing.

Not everyone is educated enough to share a bed with someone who is having a seizure infact I think it would be quite distressing to others aswel as Katie.

But its not live tv is it. Even on the rare occasions that there is a "live" feed there is a delay in transmission. I don't want to play down Katies illness, I'm just saying that relatively, she is being given special treatment that could easily have been afforded to Gary, and wasn't. This makes me believe that she is receiving unfair special treatment
