It went against everything I personally expected of Michelle. She even said in a pre-show interview that she'll always say things to your face. I didn't see Michelle as the type to whisper to the others about Alicia (or "the dingbat", as she called her, only a day after apparently disapproving of Katie mocking her intelligence) instead of just asking her about it upfront. And then to later be involved in a gossip about her surgery and the age she had her first child, topics that had no relevance to the actual issue.

Then there's the clip people have posted of Michelle and Katie hiding food one day themselves, only to make a big issue with Alicia when she does it.
