Why her? because she's one of the most talked about Celebs in the UK. Even if you dislike her you have to give them credit for getting her in the house finally. She will bring a lot of press to the show which will hopefully increase viewership which ccan't be a bad thing with Viacom wanting a bigger audience.

I think C5 are hoping that this will be their defining series, this will justify them buying BB and continuing to air it as the viewers drifted away and it was pushed to the margins of television. This series has brought it much more strongly back into the public eye and Katie's entrance can sustain that
