I just listened back there and he actually said, "he told me in person
he's a recovering addict, he's talked about drugs many times.""I don' think he's recovering, I think he's still using"

so I was mistaken when I thought he said "she told me".

Not sure who he is on about now tbh?

At the start he says, "I've figured it out, I know exactly what is going on" which makes me wonder if it's still somehow related to Katie's entrance because surely she must be the topic of conversation just after entering.

I wonder has he ever interviewed Katie's fella and is he wondering if Katie has finally come in because she needs the money because her guy is using drugs? That's the way I originally took it up, but now hat I know he means a guy told him something in person and it wasn't Katie, I am probably completely wrong.
