She was genuinely upset because she feels Perez is portraying us gay people in a bad light and I respect her for standing up for us.

But you do get these types of people in the gay community, why should they feel ashamed for being like that? There is NOTHING WRONG with it. It's not who I am or all gay guys but my god why should he or anyone like that feel bad for being like that? That is just as oppressive as anything.

Gay people need to learn alot more acceptance within their own "community" before they preach about the rest of society.
