haha what possible data do you have to support that statement. For a start, those that vote on BB are not necessarily representative of the british public, secondly, in the entire history of the UK, the people have never ever ever popularised a character like perez.

I have spoke with a number of people both friends and family as well as acquaintances and they all go "oh that Perez really makes the show glad he is in as uk celebs are so boring".

I must say I have to agree and sure it's a view shared by most of the uk public hence the high viewing figures.

Do you have anything apart from anecdotal evidence to back up that view. He may be liked as a entertaining HM but I'm not convinced he is popular as a person.
