I've been thinking lately about the "types" of favourites/winners over the years and it seems to me that Big Brother has gone into phase 3 of the type of people the public want to win. At the very beginning it was the nicest Housemate who went on to win the series, that continued up to BB8 (not counting Nadia or Petes wins, i think they won because their story was different and they had a lot of sympathy votes) Brian belo winning started the craze of nice but dim people winning and now we seem to be at phase 3 with nasty HMs "redemption stories" (which are so fake imo) with the like of katie Hopkins being favourite and Helen winning last year.

Thoughts?

oh god Brian I remember seeing him on Celeb come dine with me was so funny he fell off his chair! (I will blame Sophie's high heels and tutu dress) everytime she bent down to go in her kitchen freezer Brian I thought was going to drool so much the table would float away)
Brian Dowling was superb in that show (my fave ever BB winner)
Cameron seemed to win & vanish! (how he won I do not know all he seemed to do was read his bible)
Josie was great
So many lovely winners but my goodness so many evil eejits lately - maybe my brain is stuck in 'waltons' mode and I just like the fun filled nice great to watch people rather than the evil barstewards with mouths like sewers

Admittedly last few years I haven't been as addicted to the HMs as I have been in the C4 days it just seems you have to be a fake tanned boobs out for the boys good looking airbrain with a foul mouth to be on BB these days - A good mix of people would be great this year for BB (not just youngsters)

Not many people knew Helen's back story but Hopkins has been about for a while now. There's no excuse for her winning because there's no redemption being seen as all. She as big of a twat as well.
