I don't think so, it was to see what matters to people of the UK. They can suggest in his papers that they privatise the NHS or remove piece by tiny piece everyones civil liberties
but what has been seen to gauge the biggest response is the threat to take away page 3.
It's made mugs of all those who buy this 'family' paper by outing them as having no grasp on the importance of immediate sociopolitical threats, or the contemporary issues facing the world as a whole... if all that irks them is an absence of mammaries.
Imagine for a minute if page 3 had never been thought up, that it never existed... Then Mr Murdock announced that from tomorrow in one of the best selling family newspapers a whole page would be given to a semi naked woman, somehow I don't think it would be received as well as it is today.
