I totally agree. As much as I dislike Perez, I still believe that you should rise above it and show some decency. It's not like he did anything personally to her or her loved ones. It's just a civil handshake, ffs, no one expected her to give him a big kiss or hug. Bad form on Louisa's part. Instead of rising above it, she sunk to his level, if not lower.
