That said, he did appear to be losing the plot the final day he was in, and I felt a bit relieved he left. I got the impression he has some anger issues, and he might have lost his head and got violent.

Indeed,I thought that possible too, and really Ken was Alexander's first target,not Perez, after the so called racist word Ken used and got warned for.
I think Alexander was also maybe a difficult man to live with,he gave little of himself away and really rarely joined in with much either.

It soon became obvious to me and I am sure most watching that he really had no wish to be there, right from the start really too.

Possibly.. But a lot of musicians talk about nothing but music for hours on end, so he's probably different with people who share that passion. He got very friendly with Patsy, for example.

His behaviour towards Perez was very intolerant, for whatever reason. My boyfriend says that Perez only coughed for a few minutes to make BB open the door, and as soon as Alexander awoke and started shouting, BB opened the door. Alexander was frankly horrible at breakfast when he was giving Perez the evil eye and refusing to eat food he'd been near - that behaviour was totally bizarre, in my opinion.
