As someone who absolutely detests online bullying, due to finding her sister in the bath covered in blood and half conscious I can honestly tell you how brave it is of you to do this. I don't think you cyber-bullied as such.

Your were just having 'banter' and sometimes went a bit too far but not to the point where your constantly on someone making them feel ****.

Dont feel as though it was your fault or you caused anyone to do this. Be strong and be there for everyone who is suffering.

I've been thinking about this too and the only thought I come to is just how pathetic cyberbullies really are.

With everything that's happened on here over the last few months by individuals who take absolute pleasure in insulting people on their weight, looks, etc the only thing I feel for them is pity.

Last night, the friend of someone I am extremely close to committed suicide as a result of online bullying. Everyone I know has been hit extremely hard by it and it's my first real experience of the damage that cyberbullying can do to people

You don't need to leave. We all do things we regret in life, but we try to learn from our mistakes. I'm so sorry about your friend and i hope you will come back when you feel better. Take care of yourself.

This has been a really weird few days for me in the sense that I've lost and gained friends because of this very thread.

Much love to everyone who has been so supportive of me, I don't think people will understand just how much your kindness has put my mind to rest slightly.

It's sad that upon reading this one of the reactions from someone I counted as a friend was 'I'm going to make a multi tonight' but that person is well behind me now. I have made myself a target in the process but I like to think I am strong enough to take any 'drags' on the chin.

Lets be real here, this very thread and the reason for it just shows you what kind of people you associated with. They are the lowest form of people around and the weakest. It's easy to 'bully' someone online but the reality of the situation are morons sat behind keyboards because they literally have no friends or lives and decide to take that out on other people because it makes them feel good. Whilst I agree with you Glenn that keyboard warriors are no better than real life bullies as in person I'm pretty sure they wouldn't act like that, this thread took balls to write and obviously has lost the OP some online friends so we should acknowledge it.

The shame for me is it took a tragedy to bring this up....but if lessons can be learned from it they should be.

I am behind you and hope you don't think I view you any differently than before. Don't think that just because one person has shunned you that it means everyone has. Pretty much all of us who were friends with you before still consider ourselves friends with you now.

I think it's a damn shame that one person actions can reflect so badly on a number of people. But I just wanted to let you know that I don't think any less of you and completely understand however you are feeling right now.
