I dont thnk his wife is in anyway frumpy.

The reason his kitchen might look so empty is the fact that ii is not really the kitchen..just the kitchenette, near the sitting room, to make a cuppa etc.
They have a second kitchen, more befitting of their 2 million quid house.

Agree smudgie,I don't think that's his main kitchen at all,just a part of it,if indeed it's even his house
