no like I find the tradition boring of having roast dinners on Sunday, which makes roast dinners boring for me, having something else is far better on a Sunday.

They are alright I guess, we don't have them every single week though.

Today we are having home made chicken pakora and salad.

Why not offer to cook next Sunday? Roast dinners are one of the easiest dinners to make so maybe that is why your Mum makes it on a Sunday. I rarely cook on a Sunday so count yourself lucky not to be making do with soup

As chief cook, it depends what mood I am in.
Luckily for family I felt like spoiling them today.
Roast beef with all the trimmings..made enough to plate dinners up for them tomorrow as well, son is cock-a-hoop as he can take his home with him.
