I've found some more interesting bits when searching for all planning permission applications for Elstree Studios.
In their application for '
Temporary permission for a period of up to six years for the erection of building facades, associated structures, areas of hard and soft landscaping and associated works, in connection with the existing use of the site for film and tv production', in the
planning statement, they list a number of planning applications that Big Brother production have applied for, the last of which is
this:

Gather what you want from this information, but to me it sounds like something is definitely going on.
