Yes his primary point was "Boo", with a secondary undertone of "Hoo". We appear to be baking some sort of "irony pie". Ironies upon ironies. It seems that people are so desperate to agree with him that they can plainly see and point out the irony in "exactly those he describes" appearing in the thread to do "exactly what he describes" (even though that hasn't actually happened) but fail to see the immediate and overwhelming irony in the video itself; a man complaining about individuals being lumped under the banner of "racists" in order to dismiss their opinions, whilst in the same breath lumping other individuals under the banner of "progressives" (here used as an obvious slur) in order to... what? Oh yes. In order to dismiss their opinions.

The fact that he does this so easily and so quickly tells me all I need to know about his mindset.

1) People do something he doesn't like or doesn't agree with

2) He finds a lable for those people (in this case "progressives")

3) He makes "progressives" sound like a dirty word

4) He starts referring to those who he has lumped under his chosen term as "They", "Them", "Those People"

5) Add in some hyperbolic sweeping generalisations:

"As they've shown us time and again, there is literally no limit to how low they're prepared to sink."

"There is nothing liberal or decent about the progressive mentality",

Any of this starting to sound familiar at all? It bloody should. And this is why the accurate term for men like this is Xenophobic, not racist. He appears to dislike anything that is "different to him". In this case he has taken against those he has decided to term "progressives". I honestly despair for anyone who can't see this fellow for what he is.


It would almost be funny if it wasn't so overwhelmingly sad to see a man of such advanced years blubbing like a worked-up 12 year old girl.

'Boo Hoo'? There is nothing in the man's demeanour, or in what he is saying, or the manner in which he is saying it, which justifies any perception that he is 'feeling sorry for himself' or which wreaks of 'self-pity' as the term 'Boo hoo' would imply, nor is there anything to suggest he is throwing a 'Hissy Fit'.

Far from it, because he is self-assured and complely confident in what he is saying - so much so that there is glint of occasional mockery both in his eye and in his tone.

'Hissy Fit'? There is nothing in this man's demeanour or behaviour to justify any perception that he is throwing a strop or tantrum. He is cool,calculating and collected - in control of both himself and what he is saying.

NONE of which you state so fervently as being in this video is TRUE because this video is merely one highly intelligent, highly eloquent man stating a point of view which is perfectly valid, and the greatest IRONY here is that - on cue,and unprompted - your reaction - ABSOLUTELY PROVES HIM 100% CORRECT.

I KNOW from my own experience - as others do on here - that he is speaking the TRUTH.

When I have written condemning Islamic Extremist Terrorists, I am attacked as being 'Racist' and 'Xenophobic' and accused of ''Attacking ALL Muslims'', and it does not matter HOW MANY TIMES I correct those attacking that I was NOT talking about Muslims, the B.S. perception that I am anti-Muslim,Racist and Xenophobic continues.

I have never heard of Pat Condell or his works before and I do not know whether he is truly 'Racist' or not - but what I DO KNOW, is that NOTHING in this particular video is racist, WHAT HE SAYS in this particular video makes sense, and NOTHING in this particular video justifies your interpretation of it or your hissy fit histrionics.

I do not agree with Condell's term 'Progressives' because I would call such people 'Regressives' purely because, if they have their way we will be living (or more probably dying ) in a barbaric medieval Islamic state.

There is a great nonsensical enigma in the minds of those who Condell does term 'Progressives', and this fact is manifest in every contrary opinion they express;

''Save our National Health'' ''It is UNDERFUNDED'' ''People are being treated in corridors because there are no beds'' ''It is near to collapse''.

Yet whenever anyone points out that our 'Open Door' immigration policy - which affords FREE treatment to unlimited numbers of non-domiciled foreigners - including over 450 million Europeans who have a RIGHT to come here - is exacerbating the strain on the NHS to the detriment of our OWN people, those same voices which lament the demise of the NHS start screaming and shouting 'Racism'and 'Xenophobia' and proclaiming that accommodating immigrants for freebies does not damage the NHS or other services.

It is exactly the same with the Housing CRISIS, our bankrupt BENEFITS system and all our other near to breaking point services.

It's pure LUNACY to denounce the truth in these matters.

I for one have grown so tired of this whole hackneyed, tedious BS, that I could not give two FF's now whether ANYBODY on here or anywhere else for that matter perceives me as Racist, Xenophobic, or whatever.
