I think people are misinterpreting what he meant by it. They were talking about which girls were in relationships, he meant they are vulnerable within that relationship. Meaning, if they tried pursuing the twins, they'd have a chance at pulling them despite them already being taken.

Still not nice, but it's not rapey or as bad as was being made out last night.

The conversation was about how they could manipulate them into liking them by flirting with the other girls to make them jealous, so 'vulnerable' was an incredibly poor choice of words, it came across horribly.
