I wish more women would be open about this sort of thing, but this has proven that they can't be due to fear of being branded a 'slag' or a 'slut' because they have the same sexual appetite as men do, but apparently aren't allowed to.

I think the 'old fashioned' version of this frame of mind would have been called a swinger - plenty of those around in the past and it was a well known phrase. I think this 'new' word is just becoming trendy and basically describes a young person with a healthy sex life that doesn't want to settle down until they become more mature - jade is not really polyamorous - she proved that last night when she said that when she settles down and meets 'the one' it all has to stop. she's not polyamoupus - she just thinks she is - she's basically the exact same as any other young one trying to find 'the one'. She'll blend in just like most people when she grows up. All young ones like to think they are original and different but in reality it's all been done before.
