I'm very old fashioned, so i would never propose, to me that's the guys job. i also wouldn't expect to pay if i went on a date - if the guy asked me to pay half on a date i wouldn't see him again. I thought this was something all girls felt, until i was talking to my friend and she said that she pays for everything when she goes out with her boyfriend. so maybe it's just my family's way lmao.
So i do share some of Sarah's views, like i can get where she's coming from.
