That is just a saying though, I've heard it said by people about people older than them, it's not meant in a patronising way

Yes, I agree. I also remember her refering to Cristian as a "kid" too. Who does she think she is? She's only 24 herself.

Sarah seems to have a very superior attitude, especially towards Cristian. I don't particularly like him, but he's not that young and she's not that old that she can get away with calling him a kid.

I think he is a little kid in there. He responds to everything like a big sensitive baby. Not a fan of Sarah's but she calls them like she sees them.
