Yes, I knew that thanks. I've paid quite a bit of "road tax" in my life, I know where it goes.
I stand by what I said. If they wants lots and lots of cycle lanes built - which they should build without a doubt - cyclists, the only ones who will use those lanes, should pay toward them. And even if you disagree - which you will - then you surely must agree that they should carry insurance and adhere to the rules of the road.
