She did but that was in response to what he said. Its fair enough to retaliate in kind.

Marc is good for ratings so obviously they want to keep him in there but still by sending him to bed they are protecting the house from what he could do when he gets hammered. They are responsible for keeping a safe environment for the housemates and he was the one out of hand which is why he was sent to bed.
