Marc's not stupid, he's not going to be so obvious to replicate Conor's racially motivated conduct verbatim as he's far far smarter than Conor. Conor was your borish unwashed racist, Marc is far more covert and imo dangerous proposition. So humiliating a smitten puppy Sam sexually is far more nuanced, twisted, insidious and in some ways crueller. Marc is aware of past BB and will know of Conor and to steer clear of anything like that.

Does Marc like Sam? Nope, he hates her but he can control her, get a lot of misogyny off his chest as she is sadly masochistically accepting it.
