Vanessa beat Makosi in a vote to evict. But the producers found a way to make sure she went out rather than Makosi.

Makosi came 3rd, Anthony came 1st.

I didn't say that EVERY housemate who beats another housemate is a better housemate.

I just used an example of one situation, where it could be said that the better housemate outlasted the inferior housemate.

Vanessa was awesome, BTW.
Anthony was dull.
