I think he likes her now especially since the game where she said she used to have a crush on him massaged his ego a bit.
On another episode he was comparing her and Harry and how he originally didn't like Jade but said "at least Jade has a head on her shoulders".
Helen clearly didn't like Jade, it's Marc who has swayed her into laying off Jade. The whole thing in the diary room with Helen saying she got Jade wrong is all Marc's doing imo, repeating all that stuff about Jade not being jealous and genuinely just seeing Nick as a friend sounds like it came out of Marc's mouth and she's going along with it. Helen's facial expressions when secretly watching Jade on screen sure didn't make it seem like she suddenly liked her but she's playing along for now..
Marc might turn on Jade at some point but I think he has a good few more on his list that he wants rid of before going for Jade.
Just want to add that I agree Jade is a good housemate and should hopefully definitely make the final.
