I think Mark and Helen were a bit over the top with the stuff but Brian is what stopped Chloe from getting her say, Brian is who pushed for her to be up and Brian is the one who once again painted her as the victim to make his own point, something Chloe hates.

Mark and Helen were trying to help in their own crappy way, Brian was the hinderance.
