Now i assume most of this does not apply to a 16year old, but i don't know your situation, if you have to pay for your own transit to and from your job, if you have a cell phone and data plan you are responsible for, if you are forced into independance in such a way as to have other bills...
So essentially, it is all disposable to a 16 year old, but not all 16 year olds live in an ideal situation.
