A lot of people USE it like that though, thinking as they are 'swearing down' that will be the end of it even though they are lying. Like Aisleyne did last night. She even said in the same convo, that she did indeed know the show would pay her, not her mate. However she denied saying this once Marc picked up on it

..the bit about the show itself/Judge Reinder, I don't know whether she was lying or not because I have no knowledge of how it all works with the cases and who pays so maybe she got 'flustered' and was genuinely confused so contradictory with it all..it's something I would have to be sure of and that she intentionally told a lie, which I really can't say for certain...

I didn't know that the show was fake til last night

But Aisleyne said (before Marc said) that she knew her friend wouldn't have to pay her, when she took him on the show. When Marc pointed this out, she then backtracked saying she did not know the show would pay her instead of her friend. If thats the case, then her earlier comment makes NO sense whatsoever.

..yeah I understand what you're saying Vicky and agree to the contradictions but I just don't know whether it was that she was becoming flustered or whatever and not sure herself ...and I'm just not going to assume that Marc is completely right because I don't know the workings of the show at all so that would be 'commenting on what isn't in the house'....
