Personally, it reminded me of why I found her an interesting HM originally. There are various levels to her which aren't contrived or as controlled as a lot of reality 'stars'. Yes, there's the 'public persona' side which everyone has to a degree but beyond that we saw someone get drunk and then go through various stages of insecurity, embarrassment and ultimately reveal a vulnerability which remains despite nearly a decade of being (by reality TV standards) famous.
I found it quite reassuring that these basic human qualities are still there, although for her own happiness it would be nice to think that she could meet at least one bloke whom she could trust (and who would deserve it, perhaps more to the point).
BB used to be at least partly about actual human ineraction and the affect the situation had on people's characters. Over the years, it has concentrated more on stage-managed controversy but this was a brief glimpse of a HM's inner workings.
Okay, now back to the timewarp and guest Z-listers. No, after you, I insist!

I somewhat agree with this, and think she deserves a bit of a break (although admittedly I haven't seen the episode yet, maybe I'd change my mind if I watched).
It just strikes me as hypocritical that I've seen so many comments criticising Aisleyne because "no decent man would respect a woman like that!!!", yet I suspect that one of the reasons she acts out like this is because she is constantly fed messages that her worth is based on what men think of her, particularly with regards to her career. Meh, maybe I'm reading too much into it.
It's interesting that the OP highlighted that her vulnerability still remains despite being "famous" for a long time; I imagine that her vulnerability has been fed by being in the limelight as a reality star after being on a show which encourages the audience to judge people.
