No, for clarity, I am not saying that Nikki is homophobic, Same goes with Danny and Marc.

Homophobia is a state of a mind in which a person dislikes all gay people and I have seen zero evidence that any of the three are guilty of this.

To answer your other question, it is obviously a homophobic slur, using it publicly is homophobic even if it is used to define a heterosexual friend who may or may not be a ****** depending on whether he did or he did not go to the local nightclub on that night (I mean obviously lol, think about it.)

In other words, the word is always homophobic but the person using it may not be.

I said a few posts up that Marc isn't homophobic, read the entire thread if you're gonna nitpick, saves me repeating myself.

The only gay person in a thread not being offended does not stop it from being offensive (If thats a joke? then hahaha, if not, then get a grip. Some words are offensive, individuals opinions will never matter.)

If you call your heterosexual mate a ****** because of banter, then you used a homophobic phrase to make a joke.
Excluding the fact that the joke in your example sounds like a put-down on all gay people, it would be homophobic regardless of whether or not this was your intent.
Your idea of homophobia is, to me, outdated, gross and inappropriate to say on a public forum. Some words are offensive, this is one of those words.
