...the whole series has been about outside contact though...the exes coming in, telling them that they're popular or unpopular...'advising' them of their strengths and weaknesses in character as perceived by the public...'play this up'..'play that down'....'your conflict with him isn't good/with her it's good..'...etc, etc...so for me, the fact that Nick seems to know the next day's weather temperatures seems quite an unimportant and nothing thing....
