They were all going to vote Sam out regardless. The idea Danny caused that is f'n ridiculous. The whole point of the producers doing that was because they knew the originals would vote out Sam over Jack and Chloe. And Joel knew it. He just wanted to be seen taking a moral stance. How people cannot see through that is actually hilarious to me.
