I agree, he did his best to worm out of being part of the jury but relished the role of judge.

Joel is a brilliant game player ....now we can all sit back as he goes in on Chloe to expose her for what she really is for those poor viewers who have no brain and still haven't worked it out yet |

Yes I do,strongly so. The only person who really affected the outcome of this eviction was not in anyway Joel but Danny who made his pitch for Jack and Chloe and throwing Sam to the dogs. I just wish 2 things could have happened. 1) that the housemates joined Joel and refused to 'vote to evict' any of the 3 eligible to go in this unnecessary and shocking twist. or 2) that Chloe had got the Ł15,000 to then see what Danny would have set out to influence then. |

Anyone who thought that Joel abstained from the vote for any other reason than to make himself look good must be deluded. Joel knew exactly what he was doing. The only reason it worked was because Danny was so keen to get the Ł15,000 added to the prize fund, he did he usual stance of taking over and put his vote in for Sam to be evicted. It would have been far more interesting if they had all stuck together to see what BB would have done.
If they had started counting down the prize fund would Joel have been so keen to stick to his decision. |

I actually think yes, because he likely in reality doesn't need the money, however he would like to be the winner of BB as anyone going into the house would. He knows by now, going against BB brings penalties,he showed he wasn't bothered as to the prize fund with the pizza issue, and the prize fund was far lower at that time than it was last night. Joel said his bit right off at the start, before anyone had said a word really.I actually give him credit for that, whereas Danny immediately counteracted that stand, and made his case for not only voting but also who to vote out. Still Joel did not vote.I still say to his credit. Then again I like him, you don't. I dare bet had another hm/s said they were not going to vote at all in this, they would probably be termed wonderful for that. Last edited by joeysteele; 11-07-2015 at 12:21 PM. |

The ones who fall for shallow phonies like Cristian and Danny tend to dislike someone being truer to the person they are OUTSIDE the house.
Joel's voice/accent has never wavered like Cristian's, who trying to act the part of a celeb/performer. Joel's never told anyone to shut up repeatedly nor shown aggression because he couldn't verbally force a house mate to succumb to his way of thinking. He allows others to have opinions. You find him annoying, you find him smarmy. I get it. I really do. But of all that phoney dredge left in there he is the most real and most secure. I thought I'd want Nick to win but he should turn his balls into society if he can find them. The rest of them have been bigger phonies all season. |

No one has said anything about being Tory or Labour. The point is that what he did was attempt to draw attention to himself taking a principled position which if he really believed in he would walk out of the house in protest over. But he doesn't. What he saw was an opportunity to try and make himself look good and to go on to smear his opponents as not being so.
If he has a problem with the rules, he should take it to the production team and walk out. Then and only then would I respect him. |

Yep, I personally don't like Danny. Couldn't really care less about Cristian. And only really like Jack, though he is not without his failings.

And yet Joel remains on a show that he thinks is morally wrong to have done that to Sam. |

This thread is about him engaging in slimeball political tactics. Doesn't matter if he is Labour or Tory or whatever the hell is. What he did was not about taking a moral stance, it was about being seen to in order to score points and to draw attention to his supposed moral superiority to the others who he has smeared since.
If he has a problem with what was done he should take it to the people who were ultimately responsible for it... The BB production team. And the best way of protesting against them is by walking out of their fixed show. If he did that I would take everything I've said in this thread back and celebrate him for it. But he won't, because he's doing little more than campaigning for his own cause. |

That's ok.
Can I call it a SEASON of BB? Please? I jest. For that other guy to pick something so mundane instead of debating the content of my post was quite funny. Thanks beetlejuice. Don't take my opinions to heart as we'll never agree on Joel. It's just banter.
