Make up theories? No one needs to make up theories! Seriously, has history been THIS effectively whitewashed? The Windsors had very real and very well documented support - including financial support - for the German Nazi party in the late 1920's and early 1930's, and in fact right up until the point that it became clear that Hitler's goals included expanding West across Europe and eventually to the US.
