I don't think Melanie should've received hate for having close friendships with boys and kissing them on the lips one time while being single. Especially considering that Claire spent her whole time flirting with Craig despite having a boyfriend of nine years (!!!) and the audience was pushing for a showmance.

But that has nothing to do with race. Melanie would have been hated if she was an albino. She was hated because she flirted with lots of men and moved on to new ones when old ones were evicted. Women judge other women for that and some men judge women for it too.

I couldn't stand mel. It had nothing to do with her race.

I disliked Mel before any of her flirting. She was a snobby, precious know it all who thought she was better than everyone else.

The fuss she created when she overheard Darren nominating her said it all.

In an interview she said that she had spent her whole life with people disliking her and she wasn't sure why. She was just an unlikeable kind of person.

Interesting thing is that none of these evictees or non-winners have ever claimed racism have they? So why are people claiming it on their behalf?

Just been looking at the eviction stats for BB1 and Claire was evicted with 79% of the vote in week 7 and Mel was evicted with 69% of the vote in week 8. So where is the racism?

Melanie got 69% in a 3 way vote, whereas Claire got 79% in a head to head vote. Yes, both landslide results.

Not to mention 69% in a 3 way vote is bigger than 79% in a 2 way vote. You only need at least 33.3% to secure you an eviction in a 3 way vote. 69% is more than double that, which is how many votes went against Mel.
