you do realise "assaulted" can mean as little as throwing a drink at someone, poking someone, etc. ...right?
you probably don't know anyone who has been wrongly arrested/convicted, if you did maybe you would understand where i'm coming from. just because an article suggests justice was served, doesn't mean it was.
i'm not saying this dude is innocent, i don't know what happened and the article has no details about what happened. i'm just saying, it's best not to judge people by what you read about them. but from your "a leopard doesn't change it's spots" thing, i'm guessing you are the type to judge someone at the drop of a hat, so judge away.
