OK Alex - It'S a purse then, I don't really care. I have NO hang ups or insecurities and would walk the streets in pink hot pants if I wanted to, so it's no great shakes whether some regard my bag as a purse.

We don't call bags a purse because we also have purses. a purse or a wallet is for carrying money/cards in.
