As an actual minority who faces discrimination (granted, transgender people / muslims face it a lot more), it really is quite offensive to pretend you are oppressed when you have no idea of the meaning of that word. When you walk around in town, you don't have to worry about people calling you names. You don't have to hide yourself from members of your family for fear they might reject you.
