I've finished episode 6.

Matthew McConaughey's voice just makes me melt....

The story is twisting a fair bit now.. really wanna watch the last 2 eps but since it's stupid o'clock, I should probably sleep..

Good thing I'm on annual leave this week..

I'm not gonna post anything plot-related here Dean, but seriously, you gotta get to it.. it's really compelling.. I don't know if it's the story itself, or the way it is being told, or just the general dark atmosphere of the show, but it really draws you in.

..what I love most abut True Detectives is how damaged the characters are and it's that blurred line between the 'good guys' and the 'bad guys'...and for me, it almost becomes unimportant in a way..or more a 'background' type story, the actual crimes themselves...


...actually I did enjoy the second series as well..at one point I thought I may stop watching it but then it came into it's own and did good in the end, for me anyway...and maybe I as comparing it too much to the first series which was pretty much perfect...also Colin Farrell and Rachel MacAdams....

Finished Season 1 now... damn, that was dark and twisty..

I'm a bit wary of S2 now though, cos it seems to have less to offer according to reviews and people here...

Still, I'm gonna watch it... the cast is lush.. Taylor, Colin and Rachel especially..
