Because deep down Austin knows that there is some truth to it.

Has James actually done anything in this show that makes you think that his thrown his game away for Austin there? Or for anyone for that matter?

He reminds me so much of Natasha in the sense of his such a cold person that he doesn't even let hatred blind him, his clinical which is effective for BB, but in real life it's someone that you wouldn't want to be friends with at all as you can't trust someone like that.
