Does it annoy anyone else other than me?

They all say the same thing, we love you, we miss you, we're all doing fine blah blah blah. I reckon if I were in there I'd rather not get a letter actually and all that soppy music and cryingLike, Natasha was going on about having to get her letter because her daughter was going to be 1 or 2 or something soon......so her daughter isn't going to be actually writing the letter, the letter will say she's fine, if she wasn't fine she would be told by BB and would probably leave the house

These pampered 'Celebs' really do overdo the weeping and wailing. I can't help thinking about young soldiers fighting in wars hundreds or thousands of miles away and seperated from their families and loved ones. And it makes me think that if they are genuinely weeping, then they urgently need some form of counselling. |

Yeah I think letters at this point in the show is a tad pointless, they'll all be out in 5 days so I don't really see why they'd need one

![]() I wouldn't want one if I was in there anyway, it would make me into an emotional mess I think.

			Totally agree.

It's my least part of the show & when they do it on I'm A Celeb. I don't CARE what their loved ones say. They are hardly going to write "You are coming across as a total twat" are they ![]() The letters bore me

I wouldn't want one either, I'd find it embarrassing, I'm a pretty private person (so i wouldn't be in there in the first place anyhow) I would hate for a personal letter to be read out loud on TV, I'd rather just wait and see my family in person afterwards in private

it was awful, the Natasha letter was the lowest moment in my life...absolute bilge and worse still so fake, 2 weeks and the universe has fallen apart, what utter bollocks....none of them moved me. you need to be genuine and sincere to elicit tears from my weather beaten eyes

I think they are pathetic....they have only been in there for 3 weeks!!....not 6 months. 3 weeks is a long holiday....Its nothing.

For the sake of 5 days I would have happily sacrificed my letter... |

I think the only one that ever got me emotional was the Richard one in BB7 and I didn't even like him. It's all so forced and tedious.

its an institution now though. Its the final week, lets have the cheesy letters from home. Katie H refused hers last time which I thought was the sensible thing to do.

Always fascinates me how that letter from home is so important and tear jerking yet leaving your kids a home isn't..just saying

![]() ![]() Exactly Smudgie - They VOLUNTEER to leave their families, and it isn't for economic NEED because they're aLL better off than the average Jack who HAS to work away from home.

I'd feel really awkward having my letter read out, too. If there was a twist where someone had to sacrifice their's, I'd be putting myself forward.

I guess to us it all seems a bit stupid but I'm sure if I was in there a letter from my family reassuring me that everyone is good would go a long way from my sanity... They should give them video's from home instead of letters it would switch it up a bit.
